African Safari Club Ltd brought together the relaxation of a tropical beach holiday and the adventure of an African safari with its Kenya Beaches and Safaris brochure, offering travellers the freedom to design their own once-in-a-lifetime Kenyan experience.
The programme allowed visitors to relax on a tropical beach in the Kenya sunshine, or to experience the 'Real Africa' by combining a stay with one of several safari options. Most safaris could be included within a longer holiday, giving guests the flexibility to create a holiday that suited them.
According to the brochure, the startling contrasts of landscape and the outstanding natural beauty of Kenya must be seen to be believed. Long stretches of white sandy beaches are lapped by crystal clear, turquoise waters, protected by the coral reef that runs almost the entire length of the coast.
In December 1967, a party of Swiss travellers flew for the first time from Basle to Mombasa to escape the European winter, and fell in love with Kenya's wildlife, landscapes and natural beauty. Their enthusiasm for sharing the country led to the creation of a group of companies of which African Safari Club is part, continuing the same philosophy of offering an affordable and unparalleled holiday experience.

Safari options of 1, 2, 3, 4 and 6 nights were available, and most could be included within a 7 or 14 night holiday.
