Alpine Tracks Winter Ski is the winter holiday programme from Alpine Tracks Limited (Phoenix Holidays), a small family company offering ski holidays across the French Alps, Austria, Italy, Colorado and Norway with a focus on personal service.

Resorts Across Europe and Beyond

Alpine Tracks features a carefully chosen range of destinations, each selected for its character and skiing.

  • Morzine-Avoriaz in the French Alps, in the heart of Les Portes du Soleil
  • Lech, high in the western Austrian Alps within the Arlberg ski area
  • Champoluc in the Aosta valley of northern Italy
  • Breckenridge and Vail in Colorado
  • Several resorts in Norway

Morzine and the Portes du Soleil

Morzine sits within the world's largest international ski area, Les Portes du Soleil. The lift pass covers over 235 lifts and 650km of marked piste. Cable car links to Avoriaz and comprehensive snow making systems keep the pistes covered throughout the winter.

Guests can choose from comfortable family-run hotels and the company's own chalets. Chalet Hotel Eira offers relaxed, friendly facilities, while Chalet Chantelle has six bedrooms, a sauna and jacuzzi. A full ski guiding service is offered throughout the Portes du Soleil, along with the company's own ski hire featuring skis and boots from Rossignol, Movement and Dynastar, plus a workshop with trained technicians.

Lech, Champoluc and Norway

Lech forms part of the famous Arlberg ski area, where 85 lifts open up 260km of marked runs between Lech and St Anton, with ski-in ski-out family-run hotels in Lech and Oberlech. Champoluc, a hidden gem in the Monterosa Ski area, links three valleys via 42 lifts and is within 1.5 hours of Turin airport, with a choice of the 4-star Breithorn, the 4-star Hotel Relais des Glaciers and the 3-star Villa Anna Maria.

Norway, regarded as the spiritual home of alpine skiing, boasts a wonderful snow record with ski areas open from mid November to the end of April. Alpine Tracks also specialises in short break and weekend ski holidays, offering all-inclusive packages to ski areas within an hour of Geneva Airport.
