Welcome to the Golf Travel Club - your passport to some of the finest golf in Europe and further afield. As you'd expect, we concentrate on the hot spots of European golf: the Algarve and Costa de Sol. But we're also dedicated to making available to the British golfer courses that you may not have thought of.

A case in point is the Lisbon coast, where the twin resorts of Estoril and Cascais surpass anything on the Algarve for entertainment and that holiday resort feel, and more important, there are excellent golf courses that are not subject to the same frustrating queues as the courses just to the south.

In Northern Europe, Ireland has always been a good choice for quality golf at reasonable prices and guaranteed evening fun with a pint of Guinness or Murphy's. But have you thought of Denmark; land of endless summer days, balmy evening temperatures and excellent golf courses where you pay once and play all day.

And finally, to the exotic; how about playing golf where the natural hazards may be an elephant wandering across the fairway! It happens at Sun City, the playground for South Africa. Why not look at a two centre trip with Cape Town or Durban, for a mixture of sun, beach, culture, wine and safari - plus some fantastic golf.
