As a UK building preservation trust, Vivat has rescued neglected historic buildings facing dereliction in some of the most beautiful parts of England and Scotland, providing them with a new use as holiday accommodation.

We currently have 12 historic holiday properties in our portfolio, available to rent year-round for short breaks and weekly lettings. These range from tiny romantic follies sleeping just two people to a defensive tower sleeping 7 and a Georgian manse sleeping 8.

Each building has been sensitively restored and stylishly decorated to reflect its fascinating past. All furnishings, fabrics and furniture are carefully chosen to be in keeping with the building. The Trust strongly believes, however, that living in such historic surroundings should not mean having to forego the comforts of 21st-century living and we pride ourselves in providing a fantastic range of modern conveniences and other extras to make your holiday as relaxing as possible.
