A selection of tours encompassing a myriad of sights that Morocco has to offer. With centuries of history, a colourful culture and friendly inhabitants there is no better way to witness this wonderful country.
The Kingdom of Morocco was more beautiful than I could possibly have imagined - and so amazingly exotic when you consider it's only three hours away - the friendly people, the magical scenery and the wonderful kasbahs glowing in the hues of pink and ocre. The unequalled spectacle of the sunset strengthening the colours of the kasbah walls and the city beyond as the sun submerges beyond the horizon is breathtaking. Steeped in history and Berber culture there is so much to see and do that I recommend you take your time if you can to explore this wonderful country. The quality of accommodation available in Morocco today is fantastic. Whether looking to stay at Riads, Maison D'hotes, small hotels or large resorts, the facilities and standards are excellent.
For those of you like me who enjoy shopping, the possibilities are endless and prices are incredibly good value with Berber mugs, soft leather shoes, cases and bags, not to mention intricate brass lamps, being a selection of the goodies that made their way back to the UK with my husband and I. The souks provide the best bargains and bartering is of course part of the fun and certainly to be expected, though there are a growing number of shops with fixed prices. Morocco offers so many unexpected and wonderful surprises, there is something new to see and explore every day.
