Between Montignac and Thonac is the Château de Losse, open all year round to visitors, with superb gardens and period interiors. The famous prehistoric sites of Les Eyzies, La Madelaine and St. Christophe all lie within 20 kilometres. The superb medieval town of Sarlat is half an hour away, while Périgueux, capital of the Dordogne region, is less than an hour's drive.
