Crystal Active Beach Brochure

The Crystal Active Beach programme from Specialist Holidays Group (TUI UK) brought together multi-activity beach holidays, surfing breaks, sailing courses and adrenalin-fuelled escapes. This brochure highlighted new additions including a multi-activity centre in Croatia, active breaks to Jersey and an expanded surfing programme in south-west France.

Active breaks to Jersey

The Crystal Active Beach Jersey programme offered active breaks from three nights upwards, with flights departing from Luton, London Gatwick, Coventry, Cardiff, Doncaster, Manchester, Glasgow and Dublin among others. Accommodation was based at the family-friendly Merton Hotel, the refurbished four-star Pomme d'Or or the beachfront Golden Sands Hotel. Packages included flights, transfers, accommodation and a choice of activity with transport to and from the hotel.

Surfing in south-west France

The surf programme spanned the Biarritz and Bordeaux coastline, an area attracting surfers of all abilities and hosting many pro-surf competitions. Guests stayed in a Vivaldi designer-style luxury mobile home at the Le Vieux Port campsite in Messanges, with on-site facilities including three swimming pools, one with slides. Tennis courts, horse riding, daily fitness classes and crazy golf were payable locally, while nearby Le Vieux Boucau and the surfing mecca of Hossegor offered an après-surf scene.

Sailing, windsurfing and watersports

Two-day RYA sailing and windsurfing courses were available at RYA Training Centres in Greece and Turkey. New one-hour private sailing and windsurfing lessons could be pre-booked with holidays to Greece, Turkey and Croatia, alongside new learn-to-water-ski and wakeboard packages.

Families welcome

Pre-bookable baby bundles helped take the hassle out of travelling as a family on holidays to Club Active centres. Basic Bundles were free for all infants and included a baby bath, bath mat, sun cap and potty, while supplementary packages added nappies, wipes, aqua nappies, sterilising equipment rental and HiPP Organic food jars, juices and biscuits.
