Congratulations! Everything you need for that once-in-a-lifetime holiday is contained within our programme. While we have been specialists for villa holidays to Italy for the last 23 years, this is our fourth year in Croatia, and continued success in finding quality properties at reasonable prices, for our clients, means we're delighted to be here. Indeed, we have painstakingly seen and savoured, tried and tested all it has to offer, and yet again we heartily commend Croatia to you. Istria is the heart-shaped westernmost peninsula of Croatia, similar in appearance to Italy's Liguria or Umbria, yet so very different in its aromas, air and colours. A jewel of a holiday destination, it juts southwards into the northern Adriatic opposite Venice, a short boat ride away. Stunningly indented coastlines reveal hundreds of inlets, bays and fjords like the spectacular Limski Canal near Rovinj. The hilly interior is totally unspoilt and peaceful - ideal for a stress-free get-away-from-it-all holiday. Central Dalmatia is a haven of hedonism and history - a combination of spectacular beaches, Roman antiquity and a string of gorgeous green islands floating on a sea of sapphire blue. It's a region of dramatic coastal scenery, of medieval and Renaissance towns, packed with character, and some of the best, reasonably priced, food and wine in the Mediterranean. It's even got better weather than its Adriatic neighbours, allowing visitors to swim and sunbathe from early May to the end of September - true hedonism indeed! Southern Dalmatia is the southernmost tip of Croatia, a narrow strip of land attended by forested islands, soaked in sunshine and caressed by Mediterranean zephyrs. A lush region of inlets, magnificent beaches, interspersed with steep cliffs, and the walled city of Dubrovnik, its crowning glory. A city-tour or two is deemed very worthwhile, yet large parts of Southern Dalmatia are free of tourists - surprising since the region is scenic in the extreme and the sea is so limpidly inviting. To top it all off, the region's climate is not harshly hot either even though it is linked by latitude to Tuscany and Istanbul. Never colder than 'mild' in winter due to a warm Adriatic, the hot dry summers are tempered, in turn, by the maestral - a cool breeze that fans the coast - 'the messenger of lovely weather'.
