Rhyl & Prestatyn Funtime, presented by Rhyl Tourism c/o Denbighshire County Council, was a brochure celebrating value-for-money seaside holidays along the North Wales coast for 2013, complete with a fresh new look for the prom and plenty for the whole family to enjoy.
The brochure highlighted the real heart of every family seaside holiday: safe, clean beaches for the children. Rhyl offers three miles of golden sands, while Prestatyn has four miles divided between three distinctive beaches.
Seasonal lifeguard patrols at Rhyl added extra reassurance for children's safety. With records showing that Rhyl and Prestatyn summers are hotter and sunnier than the UK average, the brochure made the case that there are few better places to enjoy such a wealth of beaches.
The spirit of childhood was very much alive at both resorts, offering classic seaside fun for the whole family.
Alongside the traditional, Rhyl and Prestatyn offered new and exciting attractions to keep everyone entertained, including indoor beaches at the Suncentre, playzones in the Palace Fun Centre, and the Seaquarium. Between the two resorts, visitors could follow the Sustrans Cycle Route along seven spectacular miles, passing amazing ceramic artworks along the way.
